I have one coming in the mail, and am wondering how to mount it on my new nikon D750 with out damaging the lens or camera. And yes, I made sure it was for a Nikon mount.

When you ordered it, you needed to stipulate that it come with a Nikon F mount.
If it comes with a Sony or Canon mount, you will have to send it back and get the right one

As it's a Nikon F mount, it will just mount/unmount identically to your Nikon lenses.
