What are some pros and cons of nikon and canon camras?
Hi! I'm in 4h and I'm researching pros and cons of Nikon and canon camras. If you know anything please respond! Not having much luck on google!
Nikon and Canon both make great cameras. Some Nikon DSLRs are better in low-light/high ISO situations than Canons. Canon lenses are generally cheaper than Nikon lenses. Some people prefer the layout and feel of Nikons and others prefer Canons… But it doesn't matter what anyone else prefers since you'll be the one using the camera. Don't forget about Pentax and Sony.
Their various models at the same price points are essentially the same. They have different sensors and different ergonomics - that's about it. These two brands constantly copy each other. There's a reason someone coined the term "canikon" you know.
Without being sounding cheeky. It's the user. Both canon and nikon cameras are great cameras. They are the two best brands out there at the moment with few more creeping up. I would go for either way.
One trick, I use, is this. Look for friends you hang out frequently and ask what camera they are using. Go get that brand. The reason behind this is because you guys can then borrow each others equipment as they are more likely be compatible.
