What are some good nikon camera's?

I have no camera right now. I need one and my brother said canon sucks, so no canon. So I need to know what are some good nikon camera. Nothing spacial just a good point and shoot that won't cost me and arm and a leg.

also should i listen to my brother and get a nikon or get a canon.

Canon and Nikon both have good point and shoot cameras. It all depend on, what you're looking for features and how much you can pay for it?

Don't listen to your brother -- Canon and Nikon are the top 2 camera brands in the consumer market. Either brand will be fine, it's all just personal preference.

How much are you planning on spending?

Nikon Coolpix cameras are really good. They're lightweight, shoots really clear pictures, and easy to use. I've used a lot of cameras before, but personally I think they're the best. Its not so bulky either and when you buy it at the right time, its pretty cheap. I think I got mine for around $150 or $175.

If you're not looking for particularly Nikon cameras, Fujifilm is also a good brand. I think Panasonic and Sony is also.
