What are good lenses for scenery?

Canon or Nikon?

Generally a good wide angle lens is what you want.
The Nikkor 10-24 mm is good and so is the 10-22 mm Canon.
Which one you buy will be based upon which brand you happen to own

The 18-55mm will do what you require. If you want to replace the 18-55mm, then consider the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 or the Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4. Canon

Canon or Nikon both make quality lenses.
Generally I suggest that people new to landscape photography do not use wide angle lenses. Wide lenses are often misused and you end up with a scene with no subject.
