What kind of pictures (Still Objects, Scenery, People.ect) is the Nikon D80 good for?
I'm doing a project for my Photojournalism class and I need to know occasions the Nikon D80 is typically used for.
A Nikon D80 is no different than almost all DSLR's.
You can shoot anything you want with that camera.
Most of the photos on page 2 and further were taken with my Nikon D80! It's a great camera, and it can be used for anything at all!
It all depends on the lenses you have for the camera.
Wide angle lenses are best suited for landscapes. Medium telephoto lenses are good for portraiture. Super telephoto lenses are great for wildlife or anything else that needs to be photographed from a distance.
You can shoot whatever you want with any DSLR body as long as you have the right lens for the job.
The Nikon D80 is a very good camera that will be able to shoot basically any type of photography you could dream up!
The key with SLR cameras is the lenses. The right lens for a given situation or effect is much more important then the right camera body.
