Trying to view RAW format photos in windows 7 photo viewer?
I'm trying to view raw format files on windows 7 photo viewer. The windows website says I need to find and install the proper codec to support that file. The photos were taken on a Nikon but I'm not finding anything codec related on their website. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks!
Also I only want to install a program directly from Nikon for security reasons.
Not gonna happen. Use NX view or whatever it's called - the free program on the CD that came with your camera. You can also open RAW files with Photoshop. There might be a plug-in available for your camera for Photoshop Elements.
