Pentax k-r or Pentax K-30?
Well I want to buy a begginer camera and I don't want a Nikon or Canon their too mainstream in my opinion, when someone asks me about my camera and I say Pentax I don't want them to know! And in Turkey people only know Sony, Nikon and Canon
Anyways:
Which is better for a beginner a Kr or the K30? Also I heard and read that since Ricoh bought Pentax that Pentax is going to decline in sales etc. And just go bankrupt, is that true and ıf so will that affect my Camera if I buy it?
I don't think there's an immediate problem with bankruptcy - Pentax also have IS built into the body and take (and meter with) MF lenses, even the old M42 screw with a glassless adapter.
While the K-30 is widely regarded as the best in its class, the K-r is cheaper, and either will suit you perfectly well. When in doubt, go for the lower price, as neither will let you down.
If you opened your email I just answered this question along with your question regarding which camera, Canon, Nikon or Pentax! I mentioned that if the Kr has enough to satisfy you, try and benefit from a lower price if it is being discontinued. Which by all indications the Kr is being discontinued.
By the way I have not heard that Pentax is going bankrupt and going out of business. If that were fact why would they just introduce the K30 camera?
I have a camera made by a company that went bust forty years ago and it still works fine. How can Pentax going bust affect the operabilty of your camera?
