Pentax k-5, Sony A65, Nikon D7000?
Would love to hear peoples opinions on which camera they would buy out of these 3. I'm in the market for a new DSLR/SLT, have heard good things about all of these cameras. Any input would be much appreciated!
1. Value for money- Pentax K5
2. Solid grip in hand- Pentax K5
3. Backward compatibility with all previous lenses- Pentax K5.
4. Weather sealed inside out- Pentax K5.
5. Big sensor size- Pentax K5.
6.Image stabilizing built into the body- Pentax K5.
You should try them out for yourself before you buy them. Especially the viewfinder since the a65 has an OLED electronic viewfinder and the other two have optical. If you don't care about video, put Pentax at the top of your list. It's an excellent camera with higher build quality and a better kit lens than the other brands. If you value video go with the a65.It gives you almost 30minutes of recording time, continuous autofocus and use of viewfinder in movie mode. If you plan on renting equipment often you would probably want to go with Nikon. The most important thing, I'll say again, is to try them out extensively before you commit to buying one.
