Looking for camera with preview of shot before shot is taken?

I'm looking for camera with preview of the shot (with settings applied) before shot is taken, does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for something similar to the Nikon 1's Live Image Control. I want this feature because I like to take nightscapes, and I wish I could adjust the shutter speed and see the effects on the picture immediately without having to take a shot first. Also, I hope that the camera would have good low light performance.

As for size, preferably a light camera. Something about the size of the G1X/G12 or Nikon 1 Series. However, please let me know if there are DSLRs with this feature.

Thank you for your response!
@jimmymae2000: do you know of any camera that can preview such information before the shot is taken? I'm hoping that it will save me time when taking photos on vacation etc.

@Jens: Yea, its the overall brightness. I was hoping, since cameras can take burst shots at like 10fps or something, that maybe they could do a photo preview in the LCD screen? Its likely going to be a software solution though.

What's wrong with my camera? - 1

My camera is Nikon and one day I was snapping away at stuff and went to turn it off, it turned off fine but the lens still stayed out and now I can't turn it back on. The small green light still goes on when I press the start button, but then goes off after about five seconds. Can you please help me to figure out what's wrong?

Will the Sigma Lens 70-200 APO AF work on a Canon 5d Mark II?

I found a listing on craigslist for the 70-200 APO AF lens for an extremely reasonable cost of $125 where abouts the Canons version is atleast a thousand. The woman writes that it is for the Sigma body and won't work on Canons bodys but then at the end admits that she doesn't know anything really about it. I'm thinking she just found it around her house and might not have any clue about it. I'm in the process of trying to get new gear for next year, but I'm also moving all in the same month and my budget is really tight so I thought this might be a great idea.

The description reads:
NEW IN BOX

I don't know much about this lens, but will write all the details I can find.
It is a Sigma Brand Lens, for a SIGMA CAMERA BODY. It will not mount onto a Canon or Nikon, etc., unless you find that some sort of adapter exists.
It has never been used, and is in its original box, and comes with paperwork, carrying case, and lens hood. It is several years old, but I can't find a date anywhere. The box has some marks and scratches on it, but the lens and the case are in fine condition.

70-200mm F2.8
APO
Sigma AF
Sigma EX
Interchangeable Lens
Filter Size 77
Made in Japan
HSM Hyper Sonic Motor for Sigma AF

Please do your homework and be careful about buying this; I don't take returns. I'm just getting rid of some things around the house.

Facebook won't let me upload a video?

Normally uploading vids is no problem for me, but I accidentally recorded a video on my Nikon without the memory card in it. Now when I connect it to the computer with the USB cable and try to upload it to facebook, I get the "bad image" message. I even e-mailed the video to myself and saved it to my computer, but I got the same message. What's the deal? Computers for dummies speak too, please.

Also, I have no clue what format the video is in - when I click properties on it, the file type just shows "file" if that helps any.

Camera help? Nikon vs Samsung?

So I'm into photographs although I'm not a professional. But i would like to invest in a good yet not so expansive camera. I was thinking about the Nikon L810 ( http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5598218.htm) or this samsung camera http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5598548.htm.
Which is the best one? Or are there any other good brands but with the similar prices? ( from 200 to 300 euros preferably )

What, exactly, is being represented in this photo?

Is it the hat or the person? The reason I'm asking is that, I plan on taking pictures of my friend in a few days. I guess I should try and find ways to make "her" really stand out. I have been contemplating how to do this for a while. We will be shooting outside. In some of our images, I guess i should just really represent "her", but how? I don't want them to look like snapshots. And in some of our images, I can have her represent a pair of jeans or drink, meaning she will have it and it will be the subject. I just really want to make sure that I have a clear subject and meaning rather than just having snapshots of her.

What is this Nikon film SLR called?

I received this camera as a gift, and I'm trying to find the instruction manual online.
Then I realized I have no clue what it's called, and I can't figure it out since there are no markings on the camera except the NIKON on the front.
So, I was hoping you could help me out.
