Can't change exposure compensation?
Just got a Nikon P520, but I'm unable to change the exposure compensation while in Manual mode. All of the pics are turning out very dark since I changed the setting earlier yet now I can't change it. Any suggestions?
How to shoot good video on Nikon D5200 (gets wobbly/ jello image while panning)?
Hi, I just bought a Nikon D5200 to use for some of my short films. I usually film stuff with a 16mm film camera so I'm sort of new to digital stuff. I tried out the video and noticed wobbling when I move the camera horizontally. Are there any settings I should be on to fix that? Do you recommend any settings just for good quality in general or just basic things that are important to know? I've been playing around with it but I need a little help. I've been looking for videos for how to do video but I haven't found any that goes into good detail. Maybe you might know any that will help me out a little more? Thank you so much!
Added (1). I took photography classes before so I know some stuff about the camera, just not the video part.
What is the difference between the f numbers in the DSLR lenses?
I'm looking to buy a zoom lens for my new dslr
i'm new to photography and dslr
but i understand enough to know that the smaller the f number the wider the apperture
and better options when taking pictures
the problem i have with the f number is the way they are displayed.
what everyone seems to care to talk about is 1.2 2.3 3.0 and
whatever has a number a period and a number 0.0
what is the difference between 1:4 and 1.4 usually displayed as 1:4 - 5.6
why the Colon instead of the period?
and what is the 5.6 representing?

Using a pretty decent micro lens, the Nikon 85mm f/3.5G AF-S DX ED VR, i wanted to get the ENTIRE car in crisp clear focus, so i used a low aperture f 4 but half of it was still out of focus.
anyway i could have gotten more in focus?

What are the top 3 lenses for any occasion for the Nikon D5300?
I'm going to buy the Nikon Digital SLR D5300 soon and was wondering what the best lenses are for it. I don't want to skimp out and buy a cheap lens that doesn't let in much light or clarity, however I can't afford lenses which are ridiculously priced (ones that cost more than the camera itself).
My budget per lens is about £300 tops however if I'm able to reduce the number of lenses I own in favour of a more versatile lens I can go as high as £500.
I would like lenses that will cover this range of scenarios;
Landscapes
Interiors (wide angle)
Portraits
Bokeh Shots
Long-range zoom
If such a lens exists, also one that might be suitable for Video Blogging, one that can handle low light without much digital lighting increase.
Basically, am I better off buying one lens that is as adaptable as possible? Or buying 2-3 lenses for all occasions?
Many thanks for the help!
P.S: I'm just starting out in photography and this will be my first camera. I have done a lot of research however I'm of course still a newbie, so I will need a thorough explanation behind each response please so I fully understand the pro's and con's of each lens and why I might need 1 over 3 or vice versa.
What are some good riflescopes for under $350?
I'm looking for a good scope for my Rem 700 bdl 30-06 for under $350. Which magnification should I get it in? What are your thoughts on the Leupold Rifleman riflescopes? I want to use it for deer hunting and some target practice.
