Nikon, Kodak or Sony camera?

I love photography, so I'll be gettin' a new camera soon!
I need your opinions, which camera would you recommend to me?

p.s. I love taking vintage-y pictures, is there any kind of camera which will create that sort of effects?

Nikon and if not Nikon go for Cannon.

From the options you gave NIKON is best. Other wise Canon would be the best for you.
Try some pictures from both if you happen to have a BEST BUY shop or any other where they will allow you to do so.
My friends are professional photographers, always used, suggested and praised Canon.

The Pentax K-x has "old camera" and "toy camera" effects that would be the sort of things you are looking for.
