Nex 5. The sensor in the J1 is a third smaller, that brings problems, especially as the benefit of a compact system should be compactness, but with the smaller sensor you will need two lenses to cover the same focal length the sony achieves with it's 18-55, but no increase in quality. Sony has a far stronger lens range to, but it is the aps-c sensor that sells me.

These are both EVIL cameras which means they're really nothing more than over priced, glorified
pocket toy point and shoot cameras that don't even have a view finder ugh! If you want a real camera and are willing to spend this much to get that little, look more closely at Canon and Nikon dslr cameras. These cameras at their worst are head and shoulders above any EVIL camera out there.

The only reason these cameras are made is to appeal to those "snappers" who love to hold the camera way out in front of their face but feel cool because they can change lenses - that's it. It's a market that doesn't really care about real photography, just snapping with pocket toys… And that's fine if that's your idea of photography. If you want real, dslr.
