Don't know which to choose. Nikon D3000, Nikon D60, or Sony Nex 3?
I need a Dslr camera for my photography class but can't choose which camera is worth buying. They all come with accessories. Please tell my why you think that camera is better
My first DSLR is Nikon D5100 that is perfect piece.
The Nikon D3000 was replaced by the D3100 and the Nikon is a rather old one. The Sony NEX 3 is really a different kind of camera, so before you spend a dime, you will want to visit a proper camera store and hold each in your hands.
Make sure that you attach the 18-200 mm lens on each camera to see how well they balance in your hands
The Sony Nex 3 isn't a DSLR - it's a mirrorless ILC and great for street photography and travel but probably not the best for a photography class. Sony makes DSLRs and some are cheaper than the Nex cameras. Check out the a35, a55 or the a33 if you can still find any.
The best camera in my opinoin to get would be the nikon d5100 to, its great to advance with and you will use it for many years to come, it will be more then good enough for your class. Try looking online for a good deal as many local shops do tend to overprice them a bit
The Nex 3 isn't a DSLR, if you can find a D3000, you might get a bit of a discount, as it's discontinued, but the D3100 will serve you well.
If you need a dSLR, you'll need to skip the Sony NEX C3 and all the other NEX cameras. They deliver very good image quality, even better than some entry level dSLRs in some cases. Ask your teacher if a mirrorless camera is OK.
Skip the D3000, and instead get the 3100, features aside, the image sensor is much better. Skip the Nikon D60. A Canon T2i or Sony A33 would work too.
Get the D3000 - but if you can afford it, get the D3100
