Nikkor 55-300vr or the 70-300vr?

Which one is better, I would use it in a DX body.

Absolute better is the 70-300 but perhaps it's not better for what you intend to do.

For newbies who are concerned with more and more zoom, the 55-300mm is better. Technically, the 70-300mm is better. Personally, getting separate 50mm, 75mm, 150mm, and 300mm lenses are far much more ideal.

I love this lens. It focuses rapidly, is silent, the VR is great in low light, and the images are sharp. I use it more than any other lens I own.
