Does a digital SLR and a film SLR take the same lens?
I have a Nikon F100 (which is a film SLR) and I'm looking for buy a new lens (50mm, f/1.4), but I'm not sure if a digital camera takes the same lens as a film camera. I know that they take different flashes, so I'm a bit suspicious.

yes, you can use all G and D lenses
I would ask your local camera store but one way you could check is to see if the kind of lens mount on your film camera is the same as it is on any of the digital DSLR's made by Nikon. You can do it on nikonusa.com but if you want to play it safe you should ask a professional.
