Is this flash compatable to yongnuo 560 and a sony camera?
I have a sony a580 and the flashes I have are yonguo 560 I want a slave flash (not to use on top of the sony) will this flash work with an RF602 trigger
Yongnou yn 460 flash for canon nikon olympus dslr cameras
Underneath it says designed for all cameras except sony
I may be thick here but will I be able to use this as a slave with my camera
Added (1). I want it as a slave off flash camera to work with the yongnou 560, none of the flashes will be attached to the camera all on stands
Just about any flash can be used as a slave if ut has such a feature
The reason Sony is not listed is because of its non-ISO hot shoe design left over from Minolta camera designs. Minolta decided to go with a proprietary hot shoe design, so without an adapter, ONLY Minolta/Sony flashes can be used on the Sony dSLR hot shoes.
If the RF602 trigger says that you can use it with a Yongnuo 560, then it will.
Yes it will work as a purely optical slave flash when the Yongnuo 560 you have is triggered by the RF602. See my other answer though re: line of sight.
