If the Yongnuo YN-560 Speedlight Flash will work on my Nikon D3100?

Does anyone know if the Yongnuo YN-560 Speedlight Flash will work on my Nikon D3100?

The Hot Shoe is the same. But the YN-560 has no ETS (auto calibration) and will never
perform anywhere near the 430EX or 580EX series.

Yes, it will. It won't do CLS or TTL auto flash, but it will work great.
