Check the front ring of your lens. You'll notice numbers printed there. One of them will be something
along the line of 58mm… That's the size, what ever that number is.
The correct hood will look like a flower pedal. The corners that are carved out allow the lens to show the full view at the corners. If you use a straight round filter you'll get black corners… Not good.
