Is it possible that Nikon will update its 35mm 1.8G prime lens in the coming months?

Is it possible that Nikon will update its 35mm 1.8G prime lens in the coming months? - 1

Probably not.
That 35 mm lens is basically the same lens formula as the old manual focus 35 mm f/1.8 AI lens, the AF 35 mm f/1.8 lens as well as the 35 mm f/1.8 G lens, but just in different mounts.
The AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G only costs $100 (DX mount)
The AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G ED is an FX lens and costs around $530
I suggest you spend some time on the Nikon website reading about the various lenses made by Nikon

Anything is possible, but take note of what Fhotoace says.

To hear more about possible upcoming products, go to nikonrumors.com. If anyone knows anything about the 35 f/1.8G being updated, they would.
