Is it ok to leave a professional camera in a hot car?
The reason I'm asking is because I have plans to go out with my friends next month and I wanna bring my Nikon. We're going out to lunch and getting our nails done then afterwards we'll have a photoshoot. In May it usually starts to get hot so I was wondering its ok to leave it in the car for a few hours since I don't wanna bring it into the restaurant or nail salon. (I'll hide it of course so it won't be visible from the outside). Leaving it at home and going back to get it isn't an option since we won't be in the area

Never leave anything "professional" in your car.
"Please don't leave anything of value inside a car!" Not even in the trunk!
If you need to bring your camera, bring a bag that you can take WITH YOU.
Yes
No… Never ever leave anything expensive in your car. Besides it may get ruined. Just put your camera in a backpack, or some type of pouch, and bring it in the salon. What's the big deal? Its only a camera… That should be easy to take into the salon with you, or get one of those bags at the 99 cent store. There's no place in your car for a camera to be safe for a few hours, the sun will not only damage it, it may get stolen. Don't do something you may regret. Protect your camera…
Have a fun weekend…
