Is a Nikon J1 or V1 worth it?

I'm going to be a photographer! What camera is worth it? A Nikon j1 or v1? Do they have good or bad quality?

If you are a traveler and want to be able to put a camera and second lens in your briefcase or purse and still be able to produce brilliant photographs, it is a good camera and any good camera is worth what it costs.

The quality of the Nikon Series 1 is going to be much better than any P&S camera, even the $500 bridge cameras because it has a much larger sensor and many of the technical features found on the Nikon dSLR cameras.
