I need to fix the battery door on Nikon n55?

I have a Nikon N55. Haven't used it in years because the battery door broke and the little silver piece that touched the battery came off. I would love to get it replaced or fix it myself. Any advice on where and what to buy? If you have a Nikon N55 you would understand why I'm DYING to use it again!

The most expedient thing to so is use some gaffers tape to secure the door.
A more permanent solution would be to have a camera repair shop repair the door for you

Here's one I found on Ebay.

The part you need is NIKON PART 1C998-279.
And here's a couple of complete N75 camera bodies (one with broken filmdoor latch) that I found that has the exact same battery door.
