How good is my camera Nikon P530? And its photos?
I recently bought a nikon p530. I'm a bit dissapointed. The images are not that sharp in Manual mode. Yes this is the first time I'm using a camera of this type. Wanted a DSLR but had no money. Is it my fault that the images are not sharp in all the manual modes. And yesterday I was trying to focus a dragonfly but was unable to do so.in any of the modes. And the auto mode can't give me the type of images I want. Well I got some shots.

The Nikon P530 is capable of getting sharp photos. Look at these taken with the P500, which has the same sensor.
In manual mode, set the shutter speed to at least 1/125. You may be setting it too slow and are blurring the photo with camera motion.
See page 24 of the reference section of your manual on adjusting the sharpness.
Follow "retiredPhil's advice and STOP usuing 4x6 prints for an evaluation. Have an 11x14 print made if you want to see the cameras quality.
Try reading the owners manual…
It's a good camera and is well able to capture excellent shots. Read the manual several times and experiment with different settings.
