Good video camera that can also take pictures?

I'm a teenage rap artist, and I like uploading video's to youtube (Music videos, video blogs, etc)
I wanna buy a camera that is good quality and what not, and I wanna use it so I can do outside photo shoots and what not,
So what are some good cameras I can use for music video's, video blogs & them type of things? I've heard Canon & Nikon are quite good, but I just want some advice & what not lol.

Yes, you need a DSLR.

I prefer Canon to take videos, I have one myself.
However, it takes about 6 months of self-training until I can fully master mine.
I had to spend a lot on the camera supporting systems, such as rig.
And post production is much longer than if I'm using a camcorder because of the file size and file type. So you will spend more time editing it too.
If time is all you have, then go for a Canon t2i, t3i or t3. They are ok cameras for the first time users.

The three Cheapest/best IMO are in order:

CANON 600D
CANON 550D
NIKON D5100

I just bought the 600D mainly for it's 1080p filming and it should be AWESOME!
