Nikon 1 J5 can't record video longer than 1min? Video displayed as Can't Display This File?

Obviously I know the camera itself isn't a camcorder but I d like to be able to take some longer videos?
I'm not really an expert on cameras but I d love to figure out if it can;t be helped or it's something else?

Try a bigger mem card

You have an issue with your microSD memory card. Either it is defective or it is too slow a rating for video. You need at least a class 4 or class 6 card for video capture, consult your instruction manual.
