Good photography cameras?
So i want to buy a photography camera, one like the one in this link,
http://www.polyvore.com/can_you_feel_this_magic/thing?id=16932735
$800 and under? Nikon or canon. I'm a beginner in photography. Good zoom, good working camera, easy to handle? Comments/advice on the the one i should get?
Start with a non-photography camera first and learn the skills before purchasing a photography one.
I would recommend the Canon Rebel T1i with their 18-55mm lens, only $675 on Amazon.
Learn about photography, cameras and lenses before you buy. Go to camera stores and handle the cameras and see how their controls work for you. Ask the sales people questions. Compare the cameras at dpreview.com.
Sounds like you could do with starting with a compact… Save your money until you know how to handle a camera properly… And have learned the basics.
DSLRs are the best cameras you can get if you are interested in digital photography. The choice of lens depends on you. However, since you said you're a beginner, you should start by practicing with an average digital, point-and-shoot camera. In my opinion, Canon is a better choice. However, it really depends on the person.
A photography camera, i think you mean a dslr!
as people have said, you should start with the basics, but don't worry or take it personally, everyone does at some point.
if i were you, i would get a fujifilm finepix camera such as this one:
http://www.amazon.com/...0035JD0DW/" class='ext_link'>http://www.amazon.com/...0035JD0DW/
below the image you can see customer images what theyve taken with this camera, its got a 18x zoom which is pretty good!
if youve got more cash, id buy:
http://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-FinePix-S1800-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B0035JD0DW/
look at these customer pictures, they are very good! 30x zoom, a VERY high zoom.
A dslr is expensive and so are the lenses, they are harder to use and you would need to buy several lenses such as a zoom lens which itself is around $600!
however, i have a dslr which is the Nikon D3000.
it is a very good camera especially for beginners, but i don't have the money for a extra zoom lens.
also look at the canon 1000D.
if i were you i'd go for the second one the Fujifilm HS10 as it has a very good zoom and is easy to use, great camera and not that expensive for the price!
hope this helps, good luck.
