Which nikon is better?

I'm choosing a dslr nikon camera but i don't know which one my choices are d7000 d300s d5000 d3100 d90 d800 or d5100 if you could give a short overall review of each one that would be greatly appreciated and if you could compare them like which ones have things other ones don't have and at the end obviously which one you think i should get
Added (1). I'm looking for a long term investment so even if the camera is advanced i'm getting photography lessons from a friend who is a photographer anyways so ill learn i just want to know which one is better in picture quality and zoom and video+microphone quality

The latest one? I prefer Canon because Nikon cameras tends to make the picture dark\brownish?

"I prefer Canon because Nikon cameras tends to make the picture dark\brownish?" *snerk* That's user error, not the Nikons' fault.
Nikon have a great comparison tool on their website, but honestly you should probably just get the D3100.It's a perfect camera for newbies who have no idea what they're doing.

Edit:
If you want a long term investment, get the cheapest body you can and put your money into lenses.
Picture quality mostly depends on photographer skill. DSLRs do not have zoom like compacts and bridge cameras do. It's determined by the lens you're using with the body.

The D800 is the best one on your list.
You can easily compare them at http://www.dpreview.com/...ts/cameras.
I think you should get the cheapest one and learn with that. They all will allow you to learn photography to the point you will know which camera suits your needs if you are inclined to progress.
---edit---
Don't you trust your photographer friend to tell you which camera is best for you?
I answered your question, the D800 is the best camera you listed.

What's your budget?
You have listed cameras from the Nikon range from entry level (around £350) up to the latest release (D800 - £2, 500).
It seems to me you are clueless about DSLR's, so I suggest starting with a basic entry level model like the D3100.

Why don't you just go on the nikon website and compare/contrast the features of each model? There's no need for someont to 'break it down' here as it's already been done on the official website. You can also go to dpreview.com as they've probably reviewed all of these models.
electronic equipment becomes obsolete very quickly nowadays. Any of those models would be fine and will last a long time (as long as you don't get hung up on the megapixel war) - as others have said, spending money on good lenses is a better investment.
