Nikon D2X locked and not changing settings?

My Nikon D2x is currently locked, all settings being unable to change, only the basic setting on the menu being shown such as the time and date etc. There's an advanced mode that has a 4 digit pin code and I do not remember it or do not remember if another person changed it, since its been years. I finally opened up the camera after a while and I have no way to reset it since its locked because of this pin number. Is there a Nikon pin number that could override it or is it even possible to override it such as software I could hook it up. I would really love to use it for weddings again but have not been able to use it due to the advanced mode s 4 digit pin and honestly going through 10000 different possibilities may be my last resort if I'm that desperate.

The only way to reset it is to have it flashed by a service dept.

10,000 different possibilities gives you about 3 weeks to crack it given you do it for an hour or so everyday. I suggest doing it in the toilet where you can vent all your frustrations to something else worth succeeding to.
