NIKON CAMERA Help 10 pont?

I got a Nikon d2h that i ordered from ebay. I almost died waiting for it and it finally came. I tried it one. The camera said. REM. [E]. I DIDN't have a CF card and thought that camera could shoot with out CF card. Like my Nikon d1.so also clicking alot of button my Nikon d2h won't shoot. Is it because i don't have a Cf CARD

You bought an old professional quality camera and do NOT know you need a memory card to use it?

There's a feature in the cameras menu that tells the camera NOT to work if there's no memory card on board. The D1 is the same. What seems to have happened is that you have not read the user manual yet.

My question is this. Why would you want to use the camera with no memory card on-board?

CF cards are very inexpensive, but until you buy one, just use the one from your D1
