Camera lens help! How can I convert a Zenit lens to fit a Fuji camera?
I have a fuji finepix s8600, and i also have a Zenit 12xp camera. The Zenit came with a 120mm lens. What do i need to buy in order to fit this lens to my fuji camera?
You can't.
The Zenit's M42 lenses can be adapted to fit just about any DSLR (although Nikon's notoriously narrow lens throat gives some problems), or EVIL - i.e. Just about any digital camera with interchangeable lenses, but with a fixed-lens bridge camera, it's worse than useless.
Is this a joke? Fuji makes only bridge cameras and the lenses can't change.
The Fuji is a point and shoot camera. It doesn't have interchangeable lenses.
I fail to understand what would lead anyone to believe that the finepix s8600 has a detachable lens.
A piece of plastic pipe and a roll of duct tape. You might need a hammer too.
