How to take a picture of myself moving or jumping?
I would like to take a picture of myself jumping in the air, moving around in general. Instead of paying a photographer to do this I thought I could buy or rent a camera and do it myself. I have read that you need a high shutter speed. Say I wanted to jump over a hurdle. Is there anyway to set the camera up so that it will take continuous pictures and then afterwards I can sort through them picking and choosing what I want? And if so what type of camera would I need? I have read that Nikon D700 or Canon 5D Mark 3's are good. Or do I just need a professional photographer?
You don't have to use such an expensive camera. You can do this easily with most other DSLR's by setting it with a high shutter speed. I would recommend researching the type of camera you will be using for sure so that you can figure out how to do this technique using that camera specifically. Also, if you have a tripod, you can set the timer on that camera and run and do the jumps or whatever based on that.
