Do I need a special charger for my Nikon D300?
Someone gave me a used Nikon D300 and I have no experience with using cameras of this type. I wanted to mess around with it and see if I could figure out how to use it, but the battery is dead. It has a Li-ion 7.4V 1500mAh battery. Do I need a special charger for it? I know this is probably an idiotic question, but please help.
Yes… A duplicate of the original. Go to the Nikon site and you can locate it there. Also I'd recommend just buying both. Batteries and chargers are specific to each other. Any mis match can lead to over heating and in worst case fire. Nothing to piddle around with.
