Would the NikonD5000 be the right camera for me?
So, this christmas I'm getting the Macbook Pro 13 inch. Right now I have a lenovo laptop from 2009, so this is a big step up! Once I get the Macbook pro, I'm going to make videos on youtube (like music videos) so I want to get a nice camera from the money I make on youtube. I'm pretty good with technology, and I learn very quickly. Although, I don't want a camera that is so complicated to get videos from the camera onto my computer. I'm pretty sure that this is the camera for me.http://www.nikonusa.com/Nikon-Products/Product/Digital-SLR-Cameras/25452/D5000.html can you tell me more about it? And if you think its the right one for me?
Actually the D5000 was replaced by the D5100 which has a much better sensor, so its ability to make great videos is also enhanced.
Get the Nikon D5100 which is an amazing camera with capabilities and features. Like the 1080p video recording which is pretty essential for nowadays YouTubers. I've used it before & I made verg good videos with it. The D5100 is a very good camera to start with, to be honest the camera was my friend's first camera. He learnt how to shoot & video record on the spot.
You don't want a camera that is so complicated to get videos from it on the computer? What is that supposed to mean? You have to somehow put videos on the PC. You either use a card reader or the USB cable.
Nikon D5000 was a great model, but the D3100 that is newer has better video, less problems, faster AF (though manual focus is still the best) and better frame rates.
