Would a Soligor 80-200 mm Macro work on the Nikon d5100?

I'm interested in macro photography. And I was wondering if the Soligor 80-200 mm macro would work on the nikon d5100? If not, is there any other lens i should get?

If it is made for a Nikon mount it should.

There may be autofocus issues as the D5100 needs lenses with their own inbuilt motor to autofocus.

Depending on the age of the Soligor the full range of metering modes may not be available
