Will this microphone work on a nikon d7000?

I'm looking for a microphone for my nikon d7000 that will also work on my sony handycam hc14e because i don't want to have to buy one for both obviously as i don't really need 2.
can anybody recommend one that will work? I've copid links to descriptions of sony and nikon microphones
please help
or will the nikon mk1 or sony mcm msd1 work fine on both?

As long as the cameras both use external stereo mini-pin jacks (3.5mm diameter)
The D7000 does have such a jack.
