I HAVE A NIKON D60. Its amazing, was $1600, and a 2010 model. But still great.
just had to put that out there
Nikon D3100, Canon T3/1100D, Pentax Kx and Kr.
@Sienna:
The Nikon D60 was a 2006 camera, and it cost about $800 back then. If you paid $1600 for one in 2010, then you got ripped off.
Or is it a Canon 60D that you have in mind? Still, $1600 would be a extremely high price for one if it came just with a kit lens. One could almost get a 7D for that!
It's 2011 right now. The D3000 is still available.
Anyone who pays $1600 for a D60 and thinks it's a 2010 model has a large collection of loose screws.
The D3000 was the previous entry model, the d3100 came next with meant that remaining D3000 stocks were dumped at bargain prices. When a D3200 comes out, may next year I think, we will see the same thing for the d3100
Nikon D3100 & canon T3 are cheapest dslr camera for 2011.
- Anyone still using older models of DSLRs such as Nikon D3? Is there any reason in particular to not switch to a newer model of DSLR?
- Is there such thing as an adapter for Sony DSLR's?
- Is there such thing as full function remote control for DSLR?
- Good camera with cheap lense vs cheap camera with good lense?
- Is there such thing as a Nikon School?
