Best Wide Angle lens for Nikon D3100?

I'm looking for a mid range wide angle lens for my Nikon D3100, it has to be under the £200 mark as I hope to get it for my birthday.

The 18-55 kit lens.

There are no good wide angle lenses at your price point. The best you will find is the 18-55 that came with your camera. To get anything wider that is worth buying, you will need at least another hundred quid, if not more.

Sorry, but good lenses cost good money.

If the 18mm end of your kit lens isn't wide enough, you're doing something wrong.

Not gonna happen at that price point. Best I can recommend is Sigma's 10-20mm - but that's around £340.

I think kit lens will be the best choice within your budget.
