Wide angle for a DX camera?

I'm thinking about buying a wide angle lens for my Nikon D3000. Should I get a Sigma 10-20mm or a Tamron 10-24mm?

As a general rule Sigma usually has better build quality so my vote is for the Sigma. Of course, if money isn't an issue the Nikon AF-S 10-24mm f3.5-4.5G ED would be the best choice. Its $859.00 while the Sigma is only $479.00.

If your budget is too small for the Nikkor 10-24 mm lens, look at the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8.
Tokina makes the best third party lenses for Nikon cameras, much better than Sigma and Tamron

The Tokina would be my first choice, and that is the one I have. But I did not recommend it in your other identical question because it will not autofocus on your camera. It needs a camera with an in-body focus motor.
But, it is pretty academic as the DoF is going to be almost 3ft to infinity anyway.
