Which of these cameras is better?

I'm hoping to get a new camera for Christmas. Which of these cameras is better?

• Nikon D5100
• Nikon D3100
• Canon EOS Rebel T3

Uninformed question! You need to handle these cameras and sight through them and consider their accessories, namely lenses. You need to ascertain which camera is more comfortable to handle and "use" (by hands on as mentioned prior).
For example, I have used Canon all my photographic life. But the Canon's that I sighted thru were just too "busy" with all their icons & 5 focusing frames. I just could not cope. Since I was a film photographer & had gotten rid of all my cameras & lenses. I chose to try the Pentax with it's moveable focusing screen. I use "selective focus" a lot in my pictures and find this ideal for the way I shoot. So mine is an example of choosing a product BASED on MY shooting preferences.
