Which lense can i buy for amateur photography?
NIKON D90
There are some bad ones out there.
Beware of the Lense E Lohan. It works ok at first --shows a lot of promise, even-- but
eventually loses focus, becomes erratic, and ends up worthless and is basically only
good for tabloid photos.
You can buy any lens the pros use. There's no difference.

How about using the kit lens… Then learn to use your camera properly…
Any Nikon lens you want and can afford. However, its rather pointless to buy a lens until you know why you need it and how you'll use it and how it will enhance your photography. If you don't yet know what you like to photograph the most then save your money and keep using the lens that came with your D90.
If, however, you've decided that you love macro photography and want to get those up close and personal pictures of insects, bees, wasps, tiny wildflowers, etc. Then start looking at either the Nikon Micro 60mm f2.8 or 85mm f3.5.
If, however, you've decided that you love wide sweeping landscapes then you should be looking at the Nikkor AF-S DX 10-24mm f3.5-4.5G ED.
So first decide why you need the lens and then start shopping.
