Which is better? Nikon or Canon Cameras?

I need to know which brand is better. Please help. If I a Nikon i will get a d3000 version, but if I get a canon then I will get a EOS Rebel XS version.

Neither. It depends on personal preference. Ask someone who shoots with a Nikon and they'll tell you that Nikon is better, and vice versa with Canon users.

I would suggest trying both cameras out at a nearby camera/electronic store to see which one is more comfortable for you to use. If the store you go to doesn't carry those two camera, just fiddle around with cameras of the same brands to decide which user interface you prefer.

Both are good entry-level cameras, so you can't go wrong either way.

Humans can only see in 5 mega-pixels. Any machine with capabilities beyond this is a con.
