Which DSLR is for me?

I'm into photography. I have a fuju finepix S2500hd (bridge camera) and i want to upgrade. I'm limited slightly by price but was wondering what's the best camera?
These are my favorites so far.
Nikon D5000
Sony NEX 5
Lumix G1
canon 500D

My price range is about 600 pounds.
I will use it everyday and probably want to get more lenses in the future. I take pictures of ever thing, animals landscapes macros, still life, so it will need to be well rounded.

BTW, The Lumix G1 and Sony NEX 5 are not DSLRs, they are both ultra compact cameras.

I guess you could get a Canon 500D or Nikon D5000 for around that price if you look around.

You could do either nikon or canon and should have enough left over to get another lens. Canon 550d is still in your price range i think (here in United states it is). With that you would get great video with lt and rt audio (as opposed to mono).

Any K mount lens made in the past 35 years will fit.

The k-x is cheaper and offers more features than those.

I would suggest the Sony a33 if you could stretch your budget a bit. Great all around camera with HDR, sweep panorama, fast frame rates, great movie mode and high quality tilt screen.
