What zoom lens goes well for Nikon D3100?

Added (2). I would like to get 200mm-400mm range

What kind of zoom? Wide angle? Telephoto? Normal? You really don't know what you're looking for do you?

Can you also indicate the zoom range you want? Wide angle, telephoto?

In that price range, it's not going to happen.

You'd probably be good with an 18-300mm f5.6 DX VR, then. It's a good all purpose zoom for the D3100.
A professional option would be the 200-400mm f4 but it costs thousands of dollars.
Cheaper options would be then 70-300mm f5.6 and the 55-300mm.

For that budget, I'd say the best you can get would be the 55-200mm f4-f5.6.

The only telephoto zoom you can get is the 55-200mm for 130 pounds on Amazon and that is the cheapest. It's a good lens!
