Will the Nikon D3100 drop much in price when the Nikon D3200 goes on sale very soon?

In the UK the Nikon D3100 is down to around £370 (With the 18-55Vr Kit lens)
The Nikon D3200 is due out very soon indeed. Will this see much money dropped off the D3100
Thank you for your answers
Have a great day.
The "Mega-pixel masterbators" will be dueling over the 24MP senosr on the D3200 and will buy this model instead of the D3100.

Only if the retailers decide it should be so. In our experience the makers don't do drastic price drops just because of a new model.

Nikon has already announced that the D3200 is going to drop in between the D3100 and the D5100.It's not currently going to replace the D3100, hence there are no plans to drop the price of the D3100 at this time.

Actually the D3100 "dropped" $50.

There's usually some price drop in the old as a new model becomes available. However, it is usually not enormous. It may be due to the wonders of computers that the older model can be kept in inventory for a long time with less incentive to have a huge sale to clean them out.

I doubt there will be a drop in the retail price, but used D3100 may become more plentiful and reasonable priced.
