What type if lenses will work on my Nikon D5100?
Guest
I recently bought AF-S DX Nikkor ED 55-200mm 1:4-5.6g but it won't autofocus. The manual works fine though. The lens my camera came with is the 18-55mm VR. Does the VR & ED have something to do with it?

The AF-S DX Nikkor ED 55-200mm 1:4-5.6g should autofocus on your camera. Make sure all the switches are on Autofocus. If it doesn't, contact the seller to get it replaced.
No, VR (vibration reduction) and ED ( Extra-low Dispersion) don't have anything to do with focus.
