Does sigma lenses work on my new nikon D5100?
I have a sigma 150~500mm lense, and i just got a nikon D5100, i just want to know, if my lense will properly work on my camera, or will i face some sort of problems while clicking a picture.
If you buy it with the Nikon mounting system. Third party lenses are made specifically for Canon and Nikon cameras, as well as others. Buy it with the Nikon mount and it should work fine.
That should work just fine, provided you got the nikon mount version of course.
It's a bit of a balance challenge though, I had my 150-500 on a D3100 over the weekend, you're handling a lens with a body attached, see this:

- Sigma 18mm-125mm or Sigma 18mm-200mm for a Nikon D5100
