What is this DSLR worth?

Hi I'm looking to obtain my first DSLR and I've spotted this Nikon D60.

Would it be worth it to barter this person with my Microsoft Surface 32gb RT?

That older camera is worth closer to $350.

Your Surface is worth much more I'm sure

Bartering is fine, but you have to find some one that wants or needs a Surface.

If the camera was a D5000 or D3100, then the price is about right, but the D60 is a five year old, entry level camera.

For $600, you can find a D200 with lens, a far more robust camera than the D60 even though it is an older camera.
