Nikon DSLR D90 worth buying?

So i will buy this DSLR for sure next week and i wanted to know if it is worth the extra money…
I'm no professional, and i would like to know if this camera will still be good in 10 years from now…

It is a rather amazing camera, ahead of its time when introduced.

It was the first dSLR to have a built-in video feature as well as many advanced features only found on the Nikon D300 or better.

It is still an awesome camera.
