What camera/camcorder is like the NIKON D90? Just cheaper?
I'm looking for a camera to buy i came across this video on youtube that just blew me away:
and i'm looking for something as close as possible to this just little cheaper that can record but also take picture.
I prefer Canon and NIKON, price for a d90 i believe is around 1k and i'm more in the range 500 to 800
any input would be greatle appreciated!
The Canon T2i is similar, but it's got 18 megapixels and image stabilization, which I don't believe Nikon's have- I could also be wrong! The Canon also has HD video. Check it out at www.camerakings.com. Camera Kings is a great site that's always the cheapest, even cheaper than B&H!

All of Canon's cameras have lens image stabilization, not body image stabilization, so the T2i does not have IS. All IS features are built into the lenses, not the body.
As for the camera, what you're impressed about is the lens, not the body itself. The Canon T1i/T2i and Nikon D3100/D5000/D90 can all take a video like that. I'm pretty sure what you're impressed about is the shallow Depth of Field, or how everything in the background is blurred out, highlighting the subject. That is the lens, not the body. In which case, any body would do; just choose a body you feel comfortable shooting. I'd personally recommend the Canon T1i, and pair it with the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 ($100 lens), and you will get the same effect as in the video.
- Could i get a cheaper nikon fisheye for my nikon d70s and just get a lens adapter?
- Do you think touch screen cameras like the Nikon D5600 make cameras like the Nikon D5 look like 70's computers without the mouse?
- Lenses like the Nikon AF-S DX 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II Zoom Lens but cheaper?
- Should i just get canon body and an adapter for nikon lenses? Or just choose nikon?
- I just bought a Nikon FM2n just the body, need a lens but am new with cameras?
