UV filter vs polarisation filter?
I keep a uv filter on my lense all the time but I'm having a week away and want to use a polarisation filter to bring out the colour in the sky. So what I would like to know is, should I take the uv off and put the polarisation on, but then I won't have the uv filter to remove glare etc.
Any advice is helpful
(Nikon d3100)
Added (1). So I will get a better image if I use the polar instead of the uv or are they both important?
Added (2). I'm using a digital SLR a Nikon D3100,
So I guess take off the uv (Hoya is the make) and put on the polarisation filter
I was looking at this one

Always replace one filter with another unless for some reason you have to stack and filters.
Are you using film or digital? UV filters will reduce glare with film. They're useless with digital, which is already filtered for UV. In fact, if it's a cheap filter, it will degrade your image by allowing light to bounce back and forth between the front lens element and the inner surface of the filter.
The UV is there to protect the lens, when using a CPL it will also protect the lens while doing all the stuff you expect from a CPL. So you should therefore only use one filter unless you absolutely need to use more than one.
The guys at lens rentals did an interesting experiment with filters http://www.lensrentals.com/blog/2011/06/good-times-with-bad-filters
